Ashland Neighborhood Association

The Ashland neighborhood is a small historical neighborhood in Lexington. We studied the area to be ~164 acres with a 48% tree canopy cover, the highest in our study area. We discovered the tallest trees in the neighborhood to be on the historic Henry Clay estate. They were a ~113 ft Spruce, 108 ft Tulip Tree, and 107 ft Tulip Tree. Notable features are the Henry Clay estate, which offers tours of the estate and garden.
